The tinge of PINK....

Girl’s Love PINK, “Yes, we do”. But for boys,for them PINK is strictly a “NO-NO”

“Blue is for Boys and PINK is for girls”. A few years back sometime during my teenage this was the topic of discussion in my group during the recess when we were having a word on what to gift one of our classmate on his birth day. With no clue around I was left wondering about this strange relation.

Probable reasons I then thought were –

Maybe the girls like pink and boys like blue or may be pink and blue go together. It can also be that pink is feminine and if you end up in telling a boy that you have bought a pink shirt for him his first reaction would be most likely a “ewww”

But hey, here I am going to list down some new facts about the beautiful color PINK

The color pink represents compassion, nurturing and love.

All three qualities very closely possessed by a girl who plays various roles in her life be it a daughter, a sister, a friend, a lover, a wife or a mother.

 It relates to unconditional love and understanding, and the giving and receiving of nurturing.

Again very close to women's nature and the sacrifices she do, the adjustments she do and will do.

Not just that, PINK is romantic, affectionate and intimate, thoughtful and caring. It tones down the physical passion of red replacing it with a gentle loving energy, again symbolic of woman’s nature of generosity, care and delicacy .

But does it mean PINK color is weak or soft?

NO… It is a derivative of red which means passion and action. And hence Pink just carries forward all those red characteristics with a light tone and soft feel.

It is intuitive and insightful, showing tenderness and kindness with its empathy and sensitivity. It’s a sign of hope, positiveness and warmth. It's a color seeking appreciation, respect and admiration.

It doesn't like to be taken for granted and just loves to hear the words 'Thank You'.

In color psychology, pink is a sign of hope.

That’s why from the next time think twice when you hate it because we really adore the ladies in your life don’t we???

PINK is such a positive, strong and beautiful color not to be underestimated but to be admired and respected.

So all the gals be proud as your personality is resembled by such a calm, peaceful, cool color and also coz boys find girls cute in pink  and guys please next time you find something pink do not consider it as feminine think about its qualities and decide.

Again, no color is bad or negative everything has its own strength. Enjoy everything to the fullest.
